Energy Management Services
Energy Management involves tracking, analysing and optimising energy consumption within a building and involves the following steps:
- Identifying the sources of energy consumption
- Collection of utility bill data
- Analysing meter data
- Identifying cost saving opportunities
- Tracking progress
Energy Performance Assessments
Energy performance assessments involve data collection to determine energy consumption. This is often referred to as an energy audit and will provide detailed information of where the bulk of the building’s energy is consumed. As a result of this energy performance assessment, an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is issued via a SANAS Accredited Inspection Body which will indicate the grading of the assessed building.
Metering & Verification
Metering & Verification (M&V) involves planning, measuring, collecting and analysing data for the purpose of verifying and reporting energy savings within a facility resulting from the implementation of energy conservation measures (ECMs).
Activities included in M&V include:
- Meter billing and reconciliation
- Meter installation calibration and maintenance
- Reporting and verification of energy savings
- Converting prepaid meters to time of use meters
OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE SERVICES
Operations & maintenance are the decisions and actions regarding the control and upkeep of property and equipment.
- Testing and fault finding of LPU/Time of use meters
- Diesel generator maintenance
